Class Descriptions

Gentle Yoga

This all-levels class includes flowing movements that offer a good stretch for anyone who wants to move at a slower pace, or has injuries, chronic pain, or trouble getting up and down from the ground. Breath and meditation interspersed throughout.

Hatha Yoga

Strong and centering poses practiced at a slow and gentle pace. Longer static holds allow for deep stretching, strength-building, and balance. Class will include a long and restful sivasana/relaxation. Meditation and breath work are interspersed throughout. All levels welcome; this class is adaptable to the abilities of its participants.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic yoga system that is safe and effective for everyone no matter what age, experience, or level of fitness. With regular practice it helps to heal and strengthen the nervous and glandular systems, improve flexibility, and facilitate emotional transformation.

Yin Yoga

Enjoy a slow-paced practice with postures that are held for longer periods of time to target deep connective tissues and fascia, increase mobility, and improve energy circulation. Meditation and breath work are interspersed throughout. All levels welcome; this class is adaptable to the abilities of its participants.

Meditation

Meditation has been scientifically proven to have both physical and mental benefits, including reducing symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. Some guidance will be given at the beginning and conclusion of the practice to help transition you in and out of your practice. No experience necessary. We’ll help you create a comfortable meditation experience using our props.

Chakra Restorative Sound Bath

A deeply immersive and rejuvenating experience that harmonizes and balances the body's energy centers, known as chakras. Participants are bathed in the ethereal tones and vibrations produced by crystal singing bowls that are each tuned to resonate with a specific chakra.

MELT Method for Fascia

The MELT Method is a gentle technique designed to address pain and stiffness in the body by improving fluid flow in fascia and mind/muscle connection through neuromuscular therapy techniques.

Mindful Flow

Be guided in mindful movement with attention to breath. This class moves through postures at a refreshing but approachable pace to increase strength, mobility, and balance. Meditation and breath work are interspersed throughout. All levels welcome; this class is adaptable to the abilities of its participants.

Restorative Yoga

Enjoy a restful reset that inspires introspection and reflection. A practice for all levels and all bodies, this class will offer long holds of passive poses with the restorative focus of total body relaxation and release. Meditation and breath work are interspersed throughout. All levels welcome; this class is adaptable to the abilities of its participants.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic and fluid style of yoga that emphasizes the movement of breath with a sequence of poses. Build strength, stamina, and range of motion.

Vin to Yin

This class blends the yang elements of vinyasa yoga with the cooling benefits of yin yoga. Build heat in the first part of class by flowing with vinyasa style yoga. Then slow it down with long-held yin poses that stretch deep into the fascia and tissues. Tie it all together with a nice long sivasana. Some experience of yoga postures is suggested for safe practice in this class. Not recommended for beginners.

Prenatal Yoga

Experience a yoga sequence designed specifically for pregnancy. You will build strength, boost circulation, release tension, and find easeful breath as you move through this transformative time. Appropriate for all stages of pregnancy. No previous yoga experience is required.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga includes gentle stretches and breath practices accessible to all. This class is especially beneficial for anyone who finds it challenging to get up and down from the ground in a traditional yoga class. There is a lot we can do to benefit our mobility, coordination, and flexibility from a chair.

Baby & Me

Breathe to find calm in the chaos, safely build strength, and stretch to alleviate common tensions that come with the joys of raising babies. This class is designed for postpartum birth-givers and their pre-crawling babies (up to 8 months). Feeding and diaper changing are welcome. No yoga experience necessary.

Free Your Feet

Free Your Feet is the next step in creating healthy foot functioning & better balance after the MELT Your Feet workshop. (The MELT Your Feet workshop is a prerequisite to this class.).
